Oh crap, buggered my Central Gateway... how do I get it back?

Ok, so my W164 ML500 was throwing some simple errors and after a quick test using my trusty C3 and Xentry Software, simple problem, battery failure... So, I replaced my mini battery just this morning (I think it's referred to as an Aux Battery).
Being a Datto (Datsun) guy, I figured this was a pretty simple job, but it threw loads and loads of error codes...
So I proceed to use my C3 Multiplexer with Xentry/Star and reset the codes and whack in an "initial startup" through the CGW Central Gateway...

BAM! And my programming is gone!

Now my Xentry isn't talking to any of the modules in the car
How do I restore the programming to the Central Gateway Module when I have to manually program it through Developer software and I don't read German?

sorry, don't know the answer, but would like to know how you get into developer mode on the c3.

Hi biker349 Depending on your version of Xentry/Star, Developer mode is available through each of the control modules when interrogated in the DAS software.

Has anybody tried to perform an Initial Startup of control unit CGW?

Ok, update to my dilemma with the bad reflash...

I am now attempting to complete an online CGW reflash and am having trouble downloading the information from the online database.
I am using a September 2014 version of the software but the query is providing a 'Timeout' error.

Do I need to register my DAS software somewhere so that I can use the online programming tools?
Have any of you guys had luck with downloading programming from the online databases, or is this just BS so you buy the products?

...Another update...
After hitting my head against the wall for a couple of days, I have learned that I need an online SCN coding which checks your VIN against the online Mercedes database and exports the appropriate vehicle programming using the Star Diagnostics.

After exploring as many avenues I can think of, this seems to be the only way to retrieve the lost data for my ZGW / CGW (Zentrales Gate Way / Central Gate Way).

The Chinese / Hong Kong software seller I purchased the Star system through has offered the following resolution to my problem

Dear friend, the software technician checked the picture you send ,it says the gateway information is lost, you need online SCN coding to make it work again . you can try borrow the account ID and password from Mercedes dealerworkshop , or you can rent the account ID and password from us . our rent fee is 145$ for the work done . if not work , we won't charge the fee.

Best regards
Ben

Is this a reasonable price for a one time service?
