My driver side mirror is hanging by the wires. The mirror itself is fine. Does the mirror just pop back in? Does anyone know how I would fix this?

Your description sucks. I don't know what you're thinking, only what you are saying.
The mirror itself can't "hang by wires". It is a flat piece of mirrored glass attached to the electric adjustment motor by plastic and metal clips.
So...trying to interpret your question yet answer you...
Is the mirror still attached to the motor assembly and is it hanging out of the housing? Electric motor assembly is attached to the bracket using small screws. If so, replace the screws. Remove the outer housing first.(search for it. Hint: W210 has a flip-up metal wire. W211 has pry-towards-the-door metal tab.)
Or, is the entire housing hanging off the side of the car? If so, three 5-point Torx screws had to vibrate loose from the bracket-to-door mount and fall out. I would think one would notice the mirror assembly was literally flopping around loose on the outside of the car and would have explored tightening the screws before mirror assembly fell off. If the three screws are missing, replace the screws. If the piece fell off due to rust, take it to a body shop and have them repair the rusted area. No matter which, remove the outer housing. (see above or search for it)
If the mirror assembly just suddenly ended up hanging on the door and was never previously loose, either it was struck and broken by a car or vandal or an evil "Mini-Me" removed the screws to mess with your head. Repair or replace as necessary.
Most folks have a smart phone that takes photos. Try taking one and uploading it. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Yes, this is harsh. If you're too lazy to search and/or figure it out on your own, expect to get hammered. If, despite your best efforts, you can't figure it out on your own, *then* come here for assistance and it will be gladly given. And I answered your question above based upon the scant information provided.
Searching works. I just saved $416 today from one (1!) comment posted in this forum that I found via a search engine. Teach a man to fish....
Heck, I'm beginning to sound like Plutoe....
