Hi. I'm a little upset that I can't deactivate Pre-Safe braking and have it remain deactivated every time I start the car. I understand why MB makes you select to not have the car stop running when the car is stopped (tax benefits) but I don't know why MB removes the ability to configure the car's other safety options to the user's preferences permanently. I understand that most drivers don't always make the correct reaction, but I am a former amateur race car driver and trust my own reactions more than the car's generic settings. Is there a way that the dealer can give me the option to disable Pre-safe braking unless activated?
