When my car sits for a few minutes all the convenience functions time out. No keyless entry no trunk unlatch, no window movement, i don't think the dome lighting works until the door has been open for a few seconds. Once the door is opened the functions resume until its parked again. I was having battery issues and just assumed the problem was the dieing battery under hood. I replaced it and cleared up the battery light but my problem is still here. Anyone know where to start? I'm not sure what controls the "timer" maybe a body control module, central gateway, power distribution module. HELP PLEASE

Change the battery in the trunk.
