c230 transmission leaks only when hot
Hello, I have a 2000 C230 Kompressor and I had the transmission fluid changed about 2 months ago. I was driving in heavy traffic for hours and noticed all the sudden smoke coming from the back of the car. The transmission was dumping about a half quart of fluid on the ground. Let it cool down and it was fine. Took to mechanic and they said no leaks but looks like some had came out of the overflow so maybe it was just to full. A week later it happened again but this time it came out the vent and out the dipstick hole. Any idea why it's doing this? I used Lucas oil synthetic fluid and it shifts fine.
