Error code for mb lights

Error code for mb lights
Hello
My girlfriend has a 2004 or so 230 MB Kompressor and the left front parking (running) light is out and an error code stays on the whole time while driving. We replaced the bulb several times (different bulbs) but new bulb doesn't light up and error code persists. Not an important part of illumination system but error code drives GF crazy. Any help appreciated. Mike

check the socket and wiring for shorts, or corrosion.

Thank you for the reply. Checking for shorts hard for me. Anyway to just turn off the warning code? For my car unhooking the battery resets everything. Would that work?

probably not. if the fault is still there it will reappear. have someone look at it.
