Hi I have an 2003 mercedes s55 amg & I just ordered an camshaft position sensor, does anyone have a diagram or diy pics of the location of the cps, it would be greatly appreciated! :-)

Located back left of engine. Easier to get to if your hood is one of those that will stand straight up.

Try You Tube and watch someone do it. It's easy after that.

I did the Youtube thing and was able to remove it from 2002 Ml320. But trying to put it back is a tight fit and I am having trouble trying to seat the sensor in the hole. Are there any suggestions as to what I’m doing wrong?

Had to do it by feel...if you have a small mirror it helps

Put a little oil on the o- ring. It should pop in the hole.
