High Pitch Squeak from Steering Column
Hi all. This is my first time posting. I have a 2011 C300 with 70k miles and what I think is a unique issue. It's a high pitch squeaking sound from the steering column, but I don't believe it's related to the PS pump or fluid, etc. I've also pulled the rubber boot surrounding the steering column at the firewall and squeak was still present and unaffected. The video attached provides the best description.
Oh, important note, this only occurs when turning the wheel with the engine running. With engine off there is no squeak when turning the wheel.
Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks for reviewing.

Well, I just put the front end on jacks and by taking weight off the front wheels I learned it does indeed squeak even with the engine turned off.
