I have a 2014 FWD CLA 250. Recently purchased from copart

arrived on trailer, dragged it off, could not select neutral as there was no key.

Have ordered new key from mercedes and of course they need the car there to program the key. Once I get the key of course I can then select neutral etc.

But for now its stuck in park and in real pain in the a$$ to get onto the trailer

is there any trick to get this sucker into neutral. if RWD I'd just disconnect the propshaft but not sure on this as its FWD

I tried with star diagnostics xentry, tried actuating the gearbox to select neutral and it cam back refused the command

then I spoke to Mercedes Melbourne and they said that there is no way to select neutral on this car without the key. Strange but true
