02 clk430 convertible 97 sl500
Data port won't communicate
I just changed the valve body and conductor plate on my 02 clk430 it's still in limp mode so I'm trying to clear the codes, my carsoft software can't communicate with any modules when I try it says module is not built in or does not respond, so I hooked my Genesis scanner to it i try and access the tranny codes and it says check ground or fuse n can't connect. Any ideas.

I am not familiar with your particular model and year but if this is like the 2002 E-class, the OBD2 port does not connect to the transmission, only the ECU.
Use the 38-pin connector and SDS.
