w209 Door Panel Removal
I am trying to get my door panel apart and am having a little trouble - I have currently removed the SRS badge torx screw, the tweeter, door pull torx screw, the entry light, and all of the clips along the bottom edge and sides. The top edge is still firmly connected, and I can't tell how it's secured. I'm guessing that I need to remove the handle and some clips along the top edge, but I'm not too confident that I'm right. Below is a pic. Can anyone advise about the remaining steps to get the panel out?

On most cars, the top edge just slips over a lip....once the screws are removed and the bottom of the panel pulled away from the clips you just push/lift up the panel to remove. No, I've never removed a w209 door panel.

You also need to remove the button under the insdie door handle and there is a torx in there as well.
And just push up on the door panel, its going to take a little hard but if you get both torx and pull off all the clips it will come off.

You're almost there. I can't tell from the picture, but the stainless-steel trim piece at the rear of the door panel needs to be removed (at the top rear corner). Once you've done that and all the plastic retainer pins are unsnapped, grab the pull handle while prying up at the top edge of the door panel, it's just pressed in (it helps to start at the rear and work forward). Then remove the door handle cable, unplug the two electrical connectors from the door control module, and remove the connector for the courtesy light at the bottom of the door panel. Good luck!
