7G tronic transmission possible damage
I have 2007 c class w203 with 7g tronic transmission. Today I accidentally put my car in P while rolling with 3-5 km/h speed. It made a series of clicks until I stopped the car. It still holds the car when I put it in P but I want to know about the possible damage it could cause. Is it true that it has a safety mechanism that doesn't engage pawl when the car is moving?
