I have already read all the other MBWorld and other forums to figure out why I can see my Becker (MP) when connected to my laptop but Content Manger cannot.


I can go into the MB and view or open any of the folders, in other words PC has no issues seeing it. Becker's program content manager cannot, it just sits there saying please connect the MP. I have deleted and reloaded new content mangers, deleted and reloaded USB drivers, have switched USB ports, switched USB cables, tried Windows fix drive (backed up the MP on my PC before doing that) etc. etc.


Before you say try a MAC I have done the above on WIN XP, VISTA, 7, 8, 8.1, 8.2 and two MACVs via my friends help. All eight PC's have the same issues except the 2 MAC's never could see the MP. So the question are;

1. Is the updates even worth it? Are they that much better, graphics etc?


2. My MP works just fine its just it has the original 2013 load when this Becker was manufactured and has never been registered nor updated, so technically since it never was connected to the Internet and registered the maps/upgrades should be free correct?


3. Should I just give up? According to all the posts I have read Becker has never helped people and Mercedes said it's not their issue.
