2001 s500 AMG
S500 AMG??
This question is about the model of my vehicle and whether or not I've fixed a problem. I recently purchased a 2001 s500 AMG.. But after searching for that model in an amg trim package I can't find it anywhere and I've noticed the AMG section here does not have them listed.. secondly shortly after purchasing this vehicle it started hesitating in low rpms when accelerating and sometimes would want to die at stops. No check engine light but I pulled codes anyway and pulled a few! Showed 3 current and 4 pending. I had purchased the maf because I was just going to start swapping sensors and the catalytic converters if necessary but when I went to swap the maf this evening it wasn't even on good lol. I replaced it anyway. I guess my questions are.. could a poorly mounted maf or even bad poorly mounted maf throw multiple codes.. and is there even a s500 AMG model vehicle or have I been dupped by someone sticking the amg logo on the trunk lol.
