Euro AC controller in US car for C-Class?
There is such little traffic in this group but I figured I'd try here. I have a US spec 2-zone AC controller in my C-Class. The Canadian and European version of the AC controller replaces the Max AC with a Zone or Mono button.
I would rather have the zone control button that allows you to switch between single zone control or two zone control. The W204 US models lack this feature. If it's really hot the Auto mode just does what Max AC would anyway.
Is it possible to switch out the controller and gain the zone control through just a controller swap?
I see mention of people swapping out other controllers and everything seems to function. Except in cases where a 3 zone controller is used on a 2 zone car. In those cases the extra buttons just don't function.
