Battery connector - extra wires question

Battery connector - extra wires question
Looking for some help here with my C63 AMG. When reconnecting my battery from winter storage I noticed that one of the 3 extra wires that connect to the positive battery terminal seemed to be fairly kinked. The smallest single red wire worries me and I would like to have it repaired.

Does anyone know what the extra wires that connect to the post on the terminal connect to? The thinnest red wire worries me the most.

I am planning on looking into repairing it but I would like to know what it connects to so I know what I am getting into. If it something non-essential, it would give me some pease of mind.
