weird whislting noise.

weird whislting noise.

My car started having a weird high pitched wistling noise when I take my foot off the accelorator and coast. However, if I have the heater or AC or vent on it does not make that noise.

Anyone have any idea what this is, its realy anoying me

where is the noies coming from? Front, back? What about when your stopped, does it make that noise? Speed?

only when the car is moving, but only when I take my foot off the accelorator and the car coasts for a little bit.

Seems like its comming from all around, a high pitched wistle that goes away if I put the fan on.

possibly check your belt up front or the fan...pop open the hood and start the engine. see if you hear it then.
