Hello all,
As the title states, I'm having issues with my headlights flickering on a 2003 SL500. It only does it when the battery is a bit low or when it's cold. The Ambient temp sensor always reads 185* when the lights are flashing and then corrects itself to normal ambient temp and the lights no longer flicker when it changes back to correct ambient temp.
I recently got a STAR C3 unit and hooked up today. It had a bunch of old codes so I started by clearing all first. Driving the car for a bit, and then coming back to see what came back. Here are my results from Quick Test:

Had a "!" on the Airbag. I dont know what that means..



I had 3 faults shown here:

Any help is greatly appreciated as I'm very new to using DAS.

How was this resolved?? I have an 2003 sl500 doing the same thing right now! Same code.

Do you have the same issue with ambient temp sensor reading incorrectly?

I had similar symptoms to your description. Temp read 185. A lot of lights were going on and off. ABC when up and down. I scanned the car and I could not see BNS or any SAM. I got a single wire code on CAN on my icarsoft reader. It all started after a dead battery and I had to jump it. I cam to the computyer and saw this post. I let the car run and now the car (or OBDC) sees the missing modules. I deleted lots and lots of codes and it seems to be working ok. now. After hours of playing with it. Very strange.
