hello
I didnt find any maintenance log book when I bought my car, but I would like to write all the services in the future
Is any version somewhere that I can print it?
Or buy it?
thanks
I have found a printable version, you can print it as booklet and take records
if you need it just write down your email address and I will send it to you
bye
Recently bought an E250, 2011. Is there, or should there be a service history booklet with merc's? Garage tells me it's all done electronically!
Thx
Ian
Resurrecting this old thread because the question is one that I've asked as well. My CPO car came with a Maintenance Booklet that includes pages and pages of logs that (it says) must be filled out and stamped by the dealership as maintenance is performed. The car had two services (an A and a B) prior to my ownership, but neither were noted in the booklet. My previous car, a CPO BMW, was the same way - it came with a book, but nothing was ever entered in it.
For second owners, this is frustrating because the dealer often doesn't want to provide a copy of the electronic service history from the original owner, so there are no available service records.
With all the cost-cutting measures taken on cars these days, why do they bother to produce these books if none of the dealers actually use them?
