SLK32 Wont Crank After Dash/Console Remove and Replace
When I hit the crank position with the key, I get a brief hum, which I assume is the fuel pump, and then nothing else. It’s not attempting to draw from the battery for the starter. I had everything from the center stack and the console unplugged, as well as the four plugs from the fuse bank/headlamp switch unit. I did not have the battery disabled during the remove and replace process. Any ideas? Really appreciate any help.
2003 SLK32 44k miles, had it for 10 years. No previous mechanical issues. Read one pending fault code for secondary air injection.
Got a dealer appointment for next Tuesday but if I'd like to fix it before I have to tow it. Thanks.
