R230-trunk will only unlock with key blade.
I am not sure what happened. All was well and then the other day I tried to open the trunk and it would not unlock with the key fob or drivers door trunk unlock switch. I have to use the blade to unlock it and it locks every time right after soft close. Fuse 9 and 71 are good. After checking fuse 71, I noticed the little light on the door switch stayed on, but after opening and closing the trunk with the blade, it went off and will not come on while pulling the switch. I removed fuse 71 again, but the light will not come on again. I found a few threads describing the same problem, but no one posted the fix. Thank you.

Out Of Control!!
Very simple the trunk lock actuator is faulty---replace and enjoy life!!----what's so strange-------one day you see a window with a pane of glass full---the next day you see the same pane of glass and it's broken----wada you do--fix the glass or don't fix the glass---now if you want to mount an investigation into why it got broken---that's a different story!!

Seems to be a lot of different parts to this trunk lock system-some expensive. I want to investigate before replacing expensive parts first, but thanks.

SAVED ~$500.00. I removed the latch assembly and found the - Air Servo: A 220 800 02 75 (KW16/03 - D108B) – Woco 400292 A/B
(many of you call it the "black puck" - could be bought separately) had broken connectors. You can buy this part for $80 alone. Pfff-I JB welded it and all is good.
