SRS Sensor (trigger once and done)

I have a salvage 550E coupe (2010) and I have verified it has the SRS sensors on the rail that is just behind the front bumper, but the computer indicates a SRS failure. 'Communication with the R and L front crash sensor has a malfunction'. I am sure it must have triggered in the accident, which I don't know the details of, however my question is, once they trigger they are toast, right ? I need to buy new ones ? I also get errors from the R and L reversible emergency tensioning retractors. Are they also trigger and done ?

Thanks !

I was hoping to gleam from the documentation a possible source for the SRS light coming and going off, however with the newer cars all that, that was is now apart of the Xentry diagnostics and no longer apart of the documentation.

The systems is very complex and I am not even going to offer a guess, except to advise seek help with factory or equal diagnostics as all else will be misleading and add expense!!
