I'm looking for a connector that fits in part.no. A 000 982 04 12. The connector I'm looking for is the one with the two wires. A genuine part.no. of the housing and bushing would be much appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Christiaan
Underneath a picture of the part described, it's location is underneath the drivers feet (EU-car) and near the door.
I'm sorry but I don't have the VIN, that's because I don't own the car. I'm an installer of taximeters and would like to have this connector (found in every W213 as part of the CANbus-system), so I can plugin my CANbus-interface instead of soldering it to the wires.
Almost impossible to acquire connector and pin part without a VIN.
As an example the part number you have listed shows used on models 166 172 205 and 212 not on 213.
To be correct and not waste your time get the VIN from the owner!!
I'll lookup the part.no. myself when I have to install our equipment in a W213.
Personally I don't get it why no one (even the dealer) can provide me with information when I've included an image of the item, you can see the part.no. on that item, all I need is a plug for that particular item.
Thanks for the help though, if nobody else has a suggestion I think this item can be closed.
@Plutoe: please stop with the (double) exclamation marks !! There is no need for that, we're just having a friendly conversation.
