2013 GLK350 spark plug replacement question
HELP PLEASE!
I tried to change the spark plugs on my 2013 4 matic glk350. I can easily access the plugs and wires on the passenger side behind the air filter box, however, how do I get to the plugs on the drivers side. How do I remove the rear plastic engine cover. On this model it seem that I can not just pull it off. I also found out you must have a very thin walled 14 mm (or 5/8") socket because standard thickness sockets will not fit into the recess hole where the plug is located. This model does not have the dual filter air box like the older models that I see videos about on line.

I'm actually in the process of ordering plugs to replace mine on my 2013 GLK. I think what you might need is a torx screwdriver to open the engine cover. I found some decent how-to's that might help:

YouTube (E350, should be similar)
Can you confirm if your GLK has 6-plugs or 12?

I believe the 2013 GLK has the M276 engine. The rear cover is actually the intake manifold. Those links are not for that engine. I haven't seen any videos for the M276 engine yet. See this link for discussion and PDFs of the factory procedures from the WSM.
