Does anyone have knowledge about the "Babysmart" transponder fitted in the MB Baby car seats. I have an MB seat but wish to use the transponder from the seat in another non MB seat!

Is this possible?

Does anyone know what the transponder consists of?

I don't mind destroing our current seat to retrieve it!

Ok! I took the MB seat apart and found two 2 x 3 egg shaped plastic parts in base. I have placed these inside our new non MB seat & guess what - Hey presto - PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF when seat is placed on front pass seat.

Just what I wanted! I now have a happy wife coz the MB seats are yuk!!
