Distronic lense cloudy
Have a 2012 ML63 and the distronic lens is kinda rough and cloudy..
On a headlight lens I would wetsand it down and buff it back out again... put a little clear coat on it....
I'm a little hesitant to do that with the distronic lens, not sure how that all works and of course don't want to make a really expensive mistake
Anybody dealt with this issue yet ?
I did do a little searching in the forum and it seems like it's just physical protector and not really a working lens for the distronic system...
Any thoughts ?
Thanks
Mike

poked around this sunday..... hit it hard with compound... looks better but now I see the chrome star behind it is bubbling... ug... best just to replace it I guess...
found a few replacements online at pelican parts and amazon..... from $155 to $190....
kinda pricey but oh well...
Anybody know is the screw on kind or do i need to pry it off with a plastic spatula ?
Thanks
