04 R230 722.9 Conductor Plate Offline Encoding Or Used Plate

Having thrown Speed Sensor and Tubine error codes I pulled the Conductor Plate, I need to replace it with a new one. It's an early model and I tried to have the speed sensor replaced, but it was hard wired. So it must be replaced
I can order a new plate for $400. I have an SDS 4. Which can offline encode a new plate at home.
Does anyone have experience in Offline encoding their Conductor Plate that might be of help?
There's an alternative of buying another used plate but after seeing the ribbon wire and the brittle condition of the plastics, I don't think its a viable choice for my choice
Thanks for any replies
