Parktronic, can it be added to a W166 ?

I do have some options...

997 997 Driver Assistance Package: DISTRONIC PLUS (with PRE-SAFE Brake)
238 : Active Lane Keeping Assist
237 : Active Blind Spot Assist
233 : DISTRONIC PLUS (with PRE-SAFE Brake)
23P : Driver Assistance Package

When I go slow i get the Blue P on the dash... so i have parts of it I guess ?

Oh this is a 2012 ML63...

Thanks for any insight

Mike

Retrofitting the OEM system (which is not listed in your options above) is an involved install. Your car is newer and the part availability is still pretty good. If you're a DIYr comfortable taking on the task - it can be done. My recommendation would be to source the Bosch URF7 system. The functionality is the same - but the flexibility of install is much better. http://test-reviews.com/bosch-parkpi...7-parking-aid/

Surround View

Check this link, they advertise on this site. This will give you the all around view that pack assist does. What I don't know about the OEM park assist, is that does it give you a sound when you are too close to something.

I had read if the Blue "P" popped up in reverse then you had it...

Reading the manual it said hit the OK on the steering wheel when you see the "P" but it doesn't seem to do anything....
