Rear SAM compatibility?

Rear SAM compatibility?

Hi! I have a 2008 C220 W204 that needs to replace the rear SAM. However I cant find a match. I see 4 Numbers? HW/SW/LU? What Does IT mean? And the 5DK nr. Does IT all have to match? What is the part nr? Or can i use a different part nr? I Really need help to find one I can use from eBay. Or atleast know What im looking for Its driving me crazy. Thanks alot!

Regardless of what part is used, the SAM must be flashed, therefore after install you will need DAS Xentry

Thank you so much! So you can confirm this will work? Even though its from a car with a manual transmission while I have automatic?

All I will confirm is that the part numbers I posted will work, however regardless of which part you choose it will not fully function until the SAM is flashed to your car. That is very important for your understanding ad the lack of future whining about the part not working. That also assumes that the used crap you purchase really is without faults!

Thanks. Yeah I understand that. I will take IT to the dealer and Get IT programmed and fitted. But What I dont understand is wich Number on the Sam unit that is the part number? LU, SW or HW?

You are chasing your tail, none of the alphas have anything to do with MB part numbers---read up on EPC. Live long and prosper!

Rear SAM replacement

I’m have to change the rear Sam of my MB. I am confused between the ZA,HW,SW and serial number. Which one should match the new SAM I have been told I cold get a compatible one with my VIN NUMBER 4JGBB86E39A468568
but I don’t know where to check..could someone help?
