hello fellow board members,

I've got noisy door seals on our 13' GL450. Dealer recommended replacement but mbusa only extended courtesy warranty coverage of 50% of the job - $1400 total cost. I declined. Seems like too much 💰

Since then (3 months ago) the doors have gotten noisier. I use the German door seal lubricant but that doesn't do anything anymore.

Question: should I attempt to do the seals myself? Or have an Indy do it? Is it a big job? I could probably still get Mercedes to foot half the bill at the dealer if that's the way to go?
