Hi, new to the forum!
Just purchased a w220 S320 and love it so far, but have encountered a problem.

**first of all, I have used the search function and trawled the net for hours and can't seem to find an exact match to my query**

Anyway, I decided to (controvesial I know) lower my front ride height using the washer method.
Now after I have done it, the car sits just as high as before. Doesn't seem to have made any difference. The raise and lower button doesn't seem to do much either (it does illuminate though)

I also drove over 70mph to see if it would lower back down, but to no avail.

So does anyone know what my problem could now be?

Front struts have been replaced by previous owner, and rear seems to sit good.
I'll try and include a before and after picture of the washer method, but it's almost impossible to tell the difference...
