Hello all,
New to this forum and appreciate all the good info shared on this site. Hoping you can help me out. I have a new to me 2006 E350 4matic. While trying to hunt down a subtle vibration, I came across a ratchety universal joint while replacing my driveshaft support bearing. Since then, I have been banging my head against the wall trying to do the impossible, finding a replacement universal joint only. As you know, they want to sell the whole shaft. I am hoping that by now somebody would have figured out a replacement u joint that will fit.. I know I have to stake it in as before, and am ok with doing so.
Does anyone here have that elusive info?
