I acquired a 99 ML430 for an awesome price and I've been bringing up the maintenance on it. One of the fuel injectors had a leaky o-ring at the fuel rail so I took it to a local shop to replace all the fuel injector o-rings.
Fortunately there a no more leaky o-rings but the did not install the injector clips correctly. I'll be taking it back to the shop to have the repair it correctly.
So my question is that I'm unsure if the injectors are correctly seated into the manifold. Originally I do not recall seeing a grove around the base of the injector being visible. Does this mean the did not seat the injectors all the way into the manifold? Or do I just misremember. Thanks for the help!
