Coolant pump.
Hi everyone,
I need your help please. I have a W204, C220 CDI, Blue Efficiency. 2.1 Deisel, engine code 651.The warning light is ON and the fault code P2600,” Coolant Pump Control Circuit/ Open” is a permanent fault in the engine ECU. I am a technician by trade and have replaced the water pump shroud solenoid called Y133 on the wiring diagram. I have also replaced the electric water pump by the coolant header tank. The fault code is still present. The coolant pump near the header tank can be felt spinning when the heating is turned on. The the live to the pump is battery volts and the earth it switching as it should. The live is the solenoid Y133 is also good.what is wrong please? Is there another electric pump which I needs to check? Please help
