serious tech trouble with my W123 300D
Long story short... I have a 1978 300D
The Crankshaft Pulley Came off while on the way to work... (the balancer was still attached and I found the bolt in the driveway.)
I managed to get everything back on and together w/o having to remove the radiator or anything.
Tha problem is that after a minute or so at idle speed the pully and balancer come loose and I lose my drivebelts.
I blocked to pulley from moving and tightened up the bolt pretty good but it still comes loose... Any Ideas???? Please help us!
Could I just not be tightening up enough? Is there any damage that can arrise from this, possibly over tightening...
Thank You
Brian
