Does my 2002 c230 coupe have a brake light switch near the brake like all the YouTube videos show on other models or is it located on the master cylinder? I have spent hours looking for it and almost took the dash off to see if it’s there somewhere. I bought a new brake light switch that’s supposed to go next to the brake but can’t find it. Please help. My ESP and BAS lights came on

Yes. Same location. You’ll have to remove the panel under the dash to get to it.
