I recently took my Mercedes into the dealer as the locks were making a rat-a-tat-tat noise and going up and down when the door closed. They diagnosed it as "lock latch". They replaced the lock latch and now my key doesn't lock or unlock the doors. This is a new key I purchased in 2017. Meanwhile my original key WORKS. The dealer said the battery can't be replaced. What??? I just googled it and the information says the battery can be replaced. Any suggestions???
