another aux battery malfunction, '12 ML63
Popped the side cover in the back after doing a little research on here to find it....
Shows 11.5 volts not running and the same running.... The main battery terminal under the hood is 14.1 running so we r charging.... but it's not charging the rear/aux battery
When does the aux battery charge ? is it a low voltage that triggers something ? Is there way to trick a sensor to charge the rear aux battery so I can check if it's really the battery, the sensor or the device that does the charging ?
Look like a bit of pain to swap it.... pull the side cover I assume....

oh boy just keeps getting better.... sarasota mb 299 to install a new aux battery.... and some forgot to shut tailgate before backing out of the garage.... that almost neatly ripped of the mb logo.... minor scratches.... but logo exploded into pieces in the garage.... ug...

aux battery replaced.... $300.- new emblem.... $200.-
ug if my arm wasn't in a sling i woulda swapped it all myself but....
