Mercedes Me app remote start
I have used the Mercedes Me app remote start function from my iPhone and I must say it is nice to pre-cool the car during the summer months.
However, when I approach the car to enter the vehicle, the engine / car will shut down prior to unlocking or opening the door. I then have to restart the car. This is within the 10 minute limit run time of the remote start feature.
This is only a minor annoyance, but I am wondering if I am missing a small step or setting to keep the car running while entering it if using the remote start function.

I have NO solution for the problem you wrote about-- but I have a question for you:
I have 2017 E400 Coupe 4Matic (C4)-- there NO remote start option om my "Mercedes me" app; any ideas?
