I have a W222 S550 that I recently repaired some flood damage on.

Installed a brand new airbag module. Tried to configure and activate it online but it stops due to current error codes present.

Here is the strange part, the error is due to the squib for the rear engine hood lifter having a malfunction. But this squib is not present on my car. Its only for cars with pedestrian protection which mine does not have.

The unit has not been locked yet as its not been configured. I'm unable to call mercedes to fix as they suggest because its a borrowed account that I am using for SCN coding.

Pictures of error are below. Does anyone have any ideas. Or is anyone bale to fix via teamviewer. I am happy to pay

SOLVED

Manage to solve this. Went into Author data top right in XENTRY, unlocked unit (even though I did not know it was locked)

Then re performed SCN Coding and the unit configured and activated correctly
