Help Vehicle not starting "No Fuel" 06 G55

Hello,

Looking for a bit of help getting my G back up and running.

Symptom: Cranks but does not start

Proofs:
  • Vehicle will run with Carb cleaner sprayed into the intake
  • No codes
Troubleshooting Steps Completed:
  • Checked Fuel Pump fuse off the rear SAM - fuse good
  • Check Fuel Pump relay: Send power through 1 and 2 terminals, heard click, check resistance on 3 and 5 terminals outside the limit with no power, and 0 with power to 1 and 2. Also jumped 3 and 5 no power at pump still - relay good.
  • Power to relay terminal 3, even with no key on
  • No power at fuel pump (under gas tank)
  • Ran power to fuel pump, fuel pump turned on, car ran for a few seconds after - fuel pump good
  • Followed leads from fuel pump to control module cleaned connectors, no power to fuel control module, the wiring harness then disappears over the tank and inside the frame rail and I can follow it any further. without dropping the tank. it has 3/4 of gas.

Questions:
  • I'm not getting power from Rear SAM to the connector that feeds the fuel control module P/N a4635452432 the harness dissapears on me. Anyone know where i can pick up power out of the SAM to eliminate the module itself?
  • Anyone know the details of the fuel system on the G's? Where does that harness go are there any other sensors from the SAM to the control module if so where?
Appreciate any help you all can offer.

Did you ever manage to find a solution to the problem? I'm in the same spot. No power to the fuel pump fuse, I already replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter with no change in symptoms. No fuel pressure at any time.

i ended up having a short in the Rear SAM itself. It was corroded and had burn spot near the fuel relay on the inside of the same. I bought a replacement SAM and it resolved the problem. I also cleaned the corrosion up on the old SAM and it worked again, but decided to just replace it.

Hope this helps.
