Star Diagnostics
I just purchased a Star Diagnostic system from an auction. Is there a way to tell if it is OEM or a Chinese knockoff? It was from a shop that was shutting down so I felt like it has a good possibility to be Original.
I want to use it on a 2003 SL55 AMG, Are there any good tutorials on how to use?

See if it has SimDAS installed. No tutorial but it simulates the actions required to work on the car. It is very much a learn-as-you-go system. If it has the developer's kit (listed in Deutsch), be very, very careful as you can brick your car. Hit the W211 AMG sub-forum and read the sticky about STAR DIY. Not organized but will give you some ideas.
