Turbodiesel swapped Jeep Wrangler
Fuel Problems

I’ve got a 89 Jeep Wrangler that’s Swapped with the in-line 5 Mercedes turbo diesel . I don’t know much about these motors and right now I’ve got a fuel problem and to start with trying to figure it out , I need to figure what year my motor is. The only thing I’ve seen so far is some numbers on the pan, and numbers and German on the powersteering . Can anyone help me out ?? Would appreciate anything .

What are the numbers on the motor?

With the serial number you can trace it back to the year.
