TAR

Two ownership events have occurred recently and I am wondering if they are related. First, started my '05 CLK cabrio approx 30 days ago and the acronym ESP was displayed on my car's dash screen. I believe I recall I checked the owner's manual, and it instructed me to push the reset button to clear the message. I followed instructions and cleared the message. Then about 10 days ago, I tried to turn on the driver's side heated seats, and found that it is inoperable. No heat, at any of the 3 levels. The passenger side front seat heater does work correctly.

I am wondering if these two malfunctions are related. Any troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
