E200 CGI TIMING CHAIN FAILURE
Hi
My Mercedes E200 CGI W212 2012 model have 215000km on. The timing chain cam of the crank sprocket. I am busy stripping the engine. Is this factual that it would have damaged a valve or must I first test. Reason for asking is to decide if I can start stripping the head already or else I will only open up the front cavity where the chain runs through. To get to the front sump bolts do I have to lift engine up or can it be reached all around the steering rack. Any help is much appreciated.

Ok I have taken out the cams shafts and the take off the throttle body. I have made up a pipe that I screw into the plug thread . Then I pressurise the cylinder with air . No 1 and 4 cylinder seems ok but 2 and 3 is blowing out at the inlet manifold. So I will strip the head now.
