Last week my e320 wagon didnt not turn over until minutes later. I left the key in the on position then I heard a buzzing sound like a fuel pump sound then it started. Today it would not start agn so I waited for the buzzing sould and I started but it died 30 seconds later now no more buzzing sound at the beginning of turning it over. The DTC code is 17 : data exchange malfunction beween individual contro modules?

On The 124 I Would Check the Overvoltage protection relay..
