2006 E320 Diesel--cracked front coils
The front coil cracked on my car--the tire rests into the wheel well--the paint on the coil is 1 blue and 2 whites--are these coils standard in all e320 cars--are there aftermarket struts and coils recommended which will keep the body at the same height--thanks

Springs are best replaced in sets of 2, one for the right and one for the left. This avoids age and manufacturing related differences between the springs, that may lead to uneven height or performance.
As an additional check, try calling your local M-B dealer.

Thanks--I always liked the Mercedes Diesels--I was able to get one recently--I bought it with the bad spring for $3450--Has almost 200,000 miles---looked clean and was in my price rang of not much money--So far I know I need front springs and will go with the Bilstein Struts and coils-----A friend of mine just did the same job to his E320 and the front of the car is 1 inch higher then the rear-----he says the struts are adjustable--I not sure of that----
