S350-OM648 Cold Idle speed

S350-OM648 Cold Idle speed
I feel like Johnny Carson and stump the band--
So I've got two OM648s, 2007(W164) and 2012(W221), as well as a OM642(W211) in an 05.
Both the 07 and 05 cold start and idle at 900-1100 RPM, the 2012, is 600, always.
Once in a blue moon, and only after I've driven from a cold start in cooler weather (I live in CA so cold is relative) the engine will idle at about 900 RPM, similar to it's aforementioned brethren in drive after I've gone about a mile. Once coolant temp rise off the peg, it resumes the 600 or so idle speed.
I have Xentry, and know how to use it, no codes, and sensor values SEEM inline, i.e., temps and rpms cold and hot and stopped or running.
Thoughts?
