Does Warranty cover Brakes

Does the original warranty cover maintenance of the brakes (pads and disks)? I own a BMW and the pads and disks are covered under my maintenance warranty. I recently took my Benz to the dealer and they told me pads and disks are not covered under the maintenance program. Can someone please verify this for me.

Pads and rotors are wear parts, and not covered under warranty. At least not around where I live.

As a rule, MB will replace brake parts under warranty for the first 12000 miles. You may be confusing warranty with free maint. Brake pad/rotor replacement is not covered under free maint.
