Limp mode
High everyone. First post on this forum and hopefully I can get help to figure out my problem. Ok, wife's car is a 2012 c250 M272, 100,00 klms. Went into limp mode twice. Second time was I was accelerating to pass at around 120 km. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree, but not the check engine light, I think it was lane assist, cruise, and a few others. Pulled over, stopped and restart with no problem, no lights. Went to a local shop and they pulled several codes, should have wrote them down, but he talked to one of his friends that is the shop foreman at the local MB dealership and said that it was probably the transmission. But after searching several sites, the high pressure fuel pump keeps coming up as a potential problem for these cars. Just want to avoid screwing around with the trany, WAY to expensive.
